seeking an Oracle platform developer with 7+ years of experience developing and testing Oracle applications in a client server environment. The position is full time, on-site at our client in Harrisburg, PA and associated with a 5 year contract. The position requires the ability to work in a team environment but must be responsible to work independently. Must be skilled at developing Oracle web-enabled applications by creating Oracle objects, writing stored procedures, functions and packages with a good understanding of PL/SQL programming, database constraints, and triggers. Must have experience with large, enterprise scaled applications. Need excellent level of knowledge in designing and developing Forms and Reports version 9i or 10g. Excellent communication skills required. References must support your experience.

Consultant Role/Responsibilities & Development Skills:
* Work with users to develop requirements, and document results
* Develop specification documents (screens, data conversion)
* Develop and document technical design to meet requirements
* Conduct user review meetings to clarify specifications and review work product
* Develop web browser applications (screens and reports) utilizing ORACLE and ORACLE CASE tools
* Develop data conversion and load scripts utilizing appropriate tools
* Perform maintenance and enhancements
* Comply with Project Team methodology and standards
* Lead structured walkthroughs and technical reviews
* Develop plans and follow-through to resolve technical issues
Additional tasks: Test all deliverables for conformance with requirements and specifications, including Unit, Module, Integration and System testing, including pre-acceptance testing. Provide advice and support for the Program Manager in achieving overall project goals, including quality, schedule, staffing and cost metrics
