Requirement:
· Create, test and maintain SAS programs specific for clinical trail data transformations to meet the data transfer specifications for all protocols.
· Create test and maintain SAS programs for data analysis and reporting.
· Create test and maintain SAS for edit checks.
· Programs and performs other implementation tasks as needed, providing key technical expertise.
· Contribute, in regularly scheduled meetings, ideas and methods for improvement.
· Document activities and work according to SOPs. write clearly and accurately
· Other duties as assigned by senior Oracle database administrator.
Qualifications :
· Bachelors degree in Bio informatics, computer science or a related filed or equivalent Experience.
· Extensive SAS programming experience and the ability to comprehend contemporary program languages (java. PHP, etc)
· SAS certification preferred.
· Hands on experience with SQL, including the development of queries, inserts and updates , and ability to program complex SQL joins and multi-table queries is prefered.
· working knowledge on both Unix(Linux) and windows operating systems from the developers perspective.
· 2-5 years experience developing applications and systems including SAS.
· Experience in a regulated environment, especially pharmaceutical.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills: capable of production technical support.
· Team player who can multi task, work effectively with members of other teams.
· Good time management and organizational skills: the ability to prioritize own work to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high standards of work.
· working knowledge of Oracle clinical/RDC is preferred.
