Application Architect – 5 month assignment , Philadelphia
Manager is looking to back-fill for the Application Architects that are being put onto the Core Platform project, which right now is all of them. These positions are Solution Architects, responsible for applying Application Architecture to projects. They will not be responsible for developing the guiding application architecture vision, but will be applying it to actual projects. I would say that if we have people who have done application architecture work that they would be candidates. TOGAF or Zachman certification would be a big plus. Strong background and working experience in Application Architecture and Enterprise Architecture.
Ability to develop and govern of the architecture for a specific solution as part of a project.
Applying Application Architecture vs. developing is more important.
Candidate must be able to work with management and peers collaboratively and be able to facilitate solution architecture sessions effectively.
Ability to appropriately manage Architecture governance processes, communicate with Project Managers, System Designers, and Developers is critical.
Must be comfortable/conversational with all aspects of Application/System Architecture. candidate. Candidate will be assigned to work under the guidance of an existing IBC architect.
