8+ years of experience as Oracle DBA in installations, upgrades, migrations, tuning and production support
5+ years of experience with Oracle version 10g or higher
Strong Performance tuning experience (Level 3)
Experience diagnosing operational issues and determining root cause using tools such as OEM and Precise
7+ years of experience managing projects using formal methodology such as PMI
Experience using ITIL based service management tool
Job Description:
General database administration (installation, backup, recovery, tuning etc)
Materialized view design, refresh performance and maintenance
Develop repeatable processes for refreshing Dev/QA databases from Production
Database tuning and indexing strategies, planning, and execution
Problem resolution & root cause analysis
Develope customized jobs to accomplish data replication and other tasks
Evaluate and drive DB Standardization across various instances
Develope database recovery strategies
Utilize established ITIL processes for change control, problems, incidents and service calls.
In the form of a "Project Manager", do drive timely execution of tasks executed by other teams
