We have an immediate need for a who will:
- Provide technical direction and management in the maintenance and development of the reporting components of the data warehouse.
- Maintain an understanding of the definitions, analyses and reporting outputs from the data warehouse.
- Manage the analysis, design, development and implementation of new reporting requirements and provide estimates to support timelines and deliverables.
- Ensure the testing and verification of new reporting processes.
- Act as a manager and hold responsibility for planning and monitoring schedule milestones and deliverables.
- Architect, Develop, Test and Implement MicroStrategy Project.
- Develop, maintain and communicate MicroStrategy and other BI tools best practices and standards.
Participate in migrating reports existing in Cognos BI Environment to MicroStrategy environment.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of reports development and design experience in a data warehousing setting
- 4 Year Bachelors Degree or equivalent years of experience
- SDLC experience
- Experience in leading and developing complex Dynamic Dashboards using multiple data sets, Report Services Document and Intelligent Cubes
- Experience with installing and configuring MicroStrategy servers on UNIX environment
- MicroStrategy Administrative tasks such as User Management, Object Management, I-Server tuning, Web Administration and Enterprise Manager
- Knowledge of Data modeling and Data warehousing concepts
- SQL programming skills
- ETL tools such as Informatica 8.x
- Data analysis and analytical skills
- Knowledge of the SDLC processes
- MicroStrategy Certification is desired
The candidate must be able to pass a Federal Suitability Check for a position of public trust.
