Aerothermal/Combustion experience, Excel (Matlab would also help for emissions modeling), presentation/communication skills
We need an aerothermal resource to aide in lab testing, data analysis, and emissions predictive modeling.
A person with a background in combustion that can provide additional expertise to the program would be a strong benefit to the program.
Primary responsibilities:
· Integral in preparation, planning and execution of laboratory testing
· Provide aerothermal and combustion understanding to aide in data analysis and design
· Interact with mechanical engineers on lab hardware and design from an aerothermal direction
· Participate in design reviews with managers, principal and chief engineers
· Strong computer skills using MS Office, especially Excel, Powerpoint, Word.
DESIRED:
· Advanced Degree in Mechanical Engineering
· Unigraphics (UG) experience.
· Proficiency in programming languages, specifically FORTRAN, VISUAL BASIC.
· Familiarity with Gas Turbine Combustion Systems.
· Demonstrated technical and interpersonal skills.
