- Must possess a solid understanding of project life cycles with specific experience around project based test management
- Responsible for authoring project test plans
- Responsible for working with the project team to define the scope for testing within the context of each release / delivery
- Required to lead the testing process for each assigned project
- Ensure clear communication to relevant parties related to testing activities
- Comprehend requirements and scope to establish traceability, test scenarios, and test conditions
- Able to differentiate and provide quality validation on requirements
- Extensive Quality Center experience in working with all the integrated modules in the tool
- Customize Quality Center to align with the testing processes, establish traceability and generate test reports
- Create test cases in Quality Center & execute the test cases if required through the Test Lab module
- Create and manage defects in Quality Center
- Create SQL queries for data tables & database validation
- Ensure proper documentation related to testing deliverables and lessons learned
- Work with IT personnel to establish a test infrastructure that supports robust communication and a cost effective testing framework
- Assist in the development of relevant measurements and metrics
- Work with Organizational Change Management to ensure proper consideration for impact of testing requirements on functional organizations slotted for project participation
- Participate in the development of testing Best Practices
- Participate in the process to continually enhance current Best Practices for testing and quality assurance
- Ensure proper knowledge transfer of testing Best Practices
- Participate in the development of policies and procedures for the role testing plays within the organizational structure
