Experience: - 5 + yrs

 

Requirement:

 

·         5+ years of SharePoint server setup, deployment, and branding experience

·         Demonstrated experience managing large-scale SharePoint projects with the following characteristics:

·         Managing multiple departments, projects, or programs

·         Managing staff resources across multiple projects

·         Within a matrix environment

·         Very large high-profile projects

·         Demonstrated experience developing migrating intranets and data to SharePoint

·         Demonstrated experience developing governance plans

·         Demonstrated ability to develop highly usable Information Architecture

·         Demonstrated ability to produce business or technical documentation related to the requirements, specifications, design, or training

·         Demonstrated ability to provide SharePoint training to technical staff, power users, and end users

·         Proficiency with Microsoft Project Server is desirable

 

Roles and Responsibility:  

 

A. Server Installation:

 

·         Installation and Configuration of 1 Development SharePoint 2010 Server, 1 Training SharePoint 2010 Server, 2 Network Load-Balanced Production SharePoint 2010 Servers

·         Installation and Configuration of SQL Server for SharePoint 2010

·         Installation and Configuration of 1 Development Project Server and 1 Production Project Server

·         Installation and Configuration of SQL Server for Project Server

·         Linking of all SharePoint and Project Server deployments with Active Directory

 

B. Planning and Development:

 

·         Evaluate objectives and needs

·         Determine project scope and milestones

·         Complete envisioning

·         Define vision statement

·         Determine success criteria

·         Assemble project teams and define roles

·         Review/detail technical requirements

·         Review/detail preliminary end user and business requirements

·         Determine preliminary design objectives

·         Establish development environment

·         Perform risk assessment

·         Define communication strategy

·         Define training strategy

·         Review VR software and hardware

·         Create governance plan with mission, vision, and strategy

·         Plan server configuration

·         Plan security

·         Plan for Performance

·         Inform VR of any network upgrades or WAN considerations

·         Plan failover and disaster recovery

·         Plan integration

·         Plan maintenance

·         Plan content and navigation structure

·         Install and configure software on development environment (including site templates, branding and design elements, email settings, usage analysis, antivirus protection, blocked files, security, user profiles, audiences, ISA/Firewalls, web application quota templates, site collection quotas, CAS/Security Levels, self-service site provisioning, permissions, information policies, WSS and MOSS usage reporting, any software being integrated with SP2010, Recycle Bin retention, Site Delete Confirmation, Search configuration, document management configuration with document and custom profiles, configure personal sites, Single Sign-on, custom solutions and features, and documentation as needed)

·         Test and evaluate development environment

·         User acceptance and business requirements signoff

·         Install and configure software on production environment (including site templates, branding and design elements, email settings, usage analysis, antivirus protection, blocked files, security, user profiles, audiences, ISA/Firewalls, web application quota templates, site collection quotas, CAS/Security Levels, self service site provisioning, permissions, information policies, WSS and MOSS usage reporting, any software being integrated with SP2010, Recycle Bin retention, Site Delete Confirmation, Search configuration, document management configuration with document and custom profiles, configure personal sites, Single Sign-on, custom solutions and features, and documentation as needed)

·         Deploy updates to client machines as needed

·         Test SP2010 based on usage patterns and business scenarios, searching, indexing, solutions, integrations, security

·         Train System Administrator

·         Train Developers

·         Train Power Users

·         Train End Users

·         Create training materials (videos, PowerPoint's, manuals, FAQs, plan for ongoing training)

·         Create plan for monitoring growth and performance

·         Create workflow applications using SharePoint

·         Integrate other applications, including Exchange and LMS with SharePoint.

·         Deploy workflows and document management technologies that integrate with SharePoint.

·         Deploy Business Intelligence in SharePoint
