Design, code and unit test ETL and data acquisition process components for enterprise reporting and analytics in our Netezza-based environment. Position provides key technical construction skill to large-scale data warehousing build efforts.
Experience · At least 4 years technical design, coding and testing of data acquisition and ETL process. · Usage of Data Warehousing best practices and standards. · Development of large-scale data warehousing environments in SQL-based environments. · Hands on experience with a variety of DW languages and toolsets. · Working knowledge of healthcare services industry – preferred.
Demonstrable Skills · Translate technical specifications and models to efficient, effective, high-quality ETL code. Required. · Netezza DW appliance ETL development skill via SQL or other tools. Preferred. · Graphical and written design of ETL processes. Required. · Excellent SQL, PLSQL development in Oracle and/or SQLServer (if not Netezza). Required. · Good development skill with common ETL tools like Informatica, DTS, etc. Strongly Preferred. · 'Coding' and configuration of jobs using scheduling tools like Tidal or Autosys. Preferred. · Good written and oral communications in mostly technical settings. Required. · Skill with DBMoto or similar data acquisition/replication tools/techniques. Preferred. · Respects timelines and surfaces issues without direct supervision. Required. · Scripting – as in Unix, MS, etc. Preferred. · Facilitates and expects code walkthroughs and other deliverable review. Required. · Netezza certification. Preferred. | ||||
