Harness Design Engineer will be responsible for the development and documentation of locomotive wiring, harness design, and schematic diagrams.
Experience or expertise shall be needed to solve problems, develop and execute objectives, and have the ability to meet strict timelines.
· Understand, derive, and integrate electrical and mechanical requirements from locomotive subsystems design specifications into a complete locomotive design.
· Harness design, implementation, and maintenance in locomotive electrical designs.
· Responsible for the design and content of the locomotive electrical schematic.
· Lead and participate in design reviews.
· Work with electrical design, mechanical design, and manufacturing teams to resolve issues that can impact production schedules.
· Lead and direct teams of multi-disciplinary personnel to achieve team goals.
