POSITION SUMMARY: · Provide Oracle RDBMS support along with Production Support and Troubleshooting. · Knowledge of VERITAS NetBackup and Sun Solaris experience relative to support Oracle Databases is required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: · Solid understanding of Oracle RDBMS and SQL/PLSQL, with Oracle Tools (Sqlloader, exp, imp) experience · Oracle Software and Patch Installation · Oracle Security Patch (CPU) Installation · Experience with Database upgrades from 10g to 11g · Knowledge of Database Performance and General High Availability Technology (VCS/ Standby DB/DataGuard) · Managed and/or RMAN Backup: Tape, Disk, Off-Host Managed and/or RMAN Recovery: Tablespace Point-In-Time Recovery, RBS, Temp etc. · Oracle RAC 10g/11g and/or SFRAC · Related VERITAS NetBackup and Sun Solaris experience to support Oracle Databases · Production Support and Troubleshooting Basic Oracle and Advance Security Option · Basic understanding of Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g and Load Balancer · Basic understanding of Web Server, Oracle WebCache and Oracle Web Logic · Oracle 10g & 11g RDBMS · SQL/PLSQL · Oracle RAC 10g/11g and/or SFRAC · Oracle Tools (Sqlloader, exp, imp) · Oracle Software and Patch Installation · Oracle Security Patch (CPU) Installation · Database Performance and General High Availability Technology (VCS/ Standby DB/DataGuard) · Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g · Web Server, Oracle WebCache and Oracle Web Logic | ||||
