We have a long term project, up to 24 months, for a senior level SAS programmer with a minimum of 6 -12 years of SAS Programming experience in a Pharma or CRO utilizing SAS Software in the areas of DATA and Macro step programming. BS or MS in related field required.
· SAS programming experience and expertise in pharmaceutical / bio pharmaceutical industry along with SAS programming experience creating and/or validating SDTM and ADAM datasets, or expertise in programming for specialized function (e.g. epidemiology, pharmacometrics, etc) required.
· Ability and willingness to adhere to Company SOPs, guidance's, policies, standards, and team instructions and excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal are necessary.
· Must be able to work effectively from a remote office (i.e., not in same physical location as others on the team).
· Demonstrated ability to write efficient SAS code with minimal instruction, w ith appropriate use of macro implementation for efficient delivery of statistical programming work product (tables, listings, figures, datasets, etc.).
· Quick and efficient programmer with ability to:
· Write clear, concise & well documented code that could be taken over by a fellow programmer with little effort.
· Debug code with errors, warnings, and potentially logic issues.
· Detailed orientated: Pays attention to the details, ask appropriate questions. Must be flexible and adaptable to changing specifications and project requirements and timelines (e.g. can easily and quickly change task with changing priorities; flexible schedule desired to adjust work time for key events ( e.g. database lock, etc).
· MUST be US based.
· This project to be worked M - F during normal business hours, this is not a project which can be done off hours as a second job.
