Key Responsibilities
· Act as an effective link between Information Systems & Technology and its partners · including Apple Logistics, Apple Finance, and technology vendors · Interact with internal customers to understand their needs and expectations · Define information system features, interfaces, capacity, and service levels · needed to fulfill business needs · Participate in RFPs and evaluate vendor solutions from technical perspective · Evaluate vendor proposals and system solution options · Determine how business process improvement initiatives will affect Apple systems · Create work break down structures, define activities, and create schedules · Monitor and report progress on system integration projects · Manage risks, proactively identifying areas that could delay project completion
Job Requirements
· 5 or more years of information system management experience · Knowledge of information technologies including ERP (SAP), information exchange · standards (EDI, XML) and operating systems (Mac OS and Windows) · Transportation freight payment experience is a big plus; a solid grasp on computer · system integration is a must · Leadership experience interacting with business audiences and information technology · teams · Excellent time management and organizational skills · Attributes · Results driven, with strong communication and teamwork skills · Attention to detail and high personal quality standards · Self-motivated, able to work independently | ||||
