| Job Description |
- 2+ years of hands on experience in front-end web application development
- Expert in HTML/CSS/JavaScript, being able to write semantic markup
- Deep understanding of cross browser development issues
- Understanding DOM structure, manipulation, and events
- Knowing node relation and traversing, how to create, append, remove, copy, find and attach events to DOM nodes without a JavaScript library
- Strong knowledge of at least one major JavaScript library
- Understanding of closure, knowing why and how to use it in JavaScript, and familiar with a few JavaScript design patterns
- Basic knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3, knowing how to utilize new technology that can degrade gracefully
- Experience with version control
- Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite - designers work exclusively in this set of programs

- Experience with server-side
- The bulk of our site is in Java, but we also use ruby and python in several places
- Familiar with jQuery; we've adopted jQuery as our main library
