Job Description

Our Client is looking for an experienced professional to fill a software engineer consultant role within its internal development organization. Qualified candidates should have experience developing real-time applications in the financial community. Responsibilities to include:

  • Engineering and enhancing real-time trading applications
  • Delivering well written and unit tested solutions
  • Be an effective team player with strong sense of ownership and accountability over assigned application.
  • Ability to deliver technical documentation to describe software solutions.

Required Skills:

  • C#/.NET 4.0
  • Windows Forms
  • Multi-threading
  • SQL
  • Ability to build efficient database applications
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues in real time applications
  • Results oriented with a strong work ethic and team oriented skill set

A Plus:

  • WPF
  • Direct experience with MS SQL Server
  • Detail oriented approach.
  • Knowledge of industry data feeds and financial protocols.
