One of my client located at Reston(VA) is looking for a Unix / LDAP consultant. This would be a contract job for 6 Months.

Client uses LDAP directories to store users and systems information, as well as an authentication / authorization mechanism for systems and applications. The current LDAP infrastructure in client location was implemented in early 2000. Both hardware and software will soon become obsolete. This project is to evaluate latest LDAP technologies and upgrade client LDAP infrastructure to meet current and future business needs.
· Experience with UNIX/Linux is required, and knowledge of / experience with LDAP protocol and associated products strongly desired.
· Responsible for project planning, design, business analysis, development, test and vendor management of new LDAP infrastructure.
· Participate in vendor selection analysis, design documentation, implementation of the solution into lower environments, subsequent testing, and migration planning.
· Candidates must have strong technical experience. Developer backgrounds are ideal.
