RAILWAY SIGNALLING DESIGN ENGINEER – Omaha(NE) – Full Time
· 5-10 plus years experience as a railroad signaling design Engineer.
· Prior experience in grade crossing design and wayside signaling design
· Prior experience in checking and reviewing the signaling circuits
· Capable of reviewing the design based on interlocking route and aspect charts.
· Capable of reviewing the programs for electronic crossing / interlocking controllers
· Capable of modifications to microprocessor based interlocking controllers.
· Capable of Ensuring the safety and quality standards of designs
· Extensive knowledge of North American standards
· Current knowledge of signaling design processes
· Appropriate technical qualification or equivalent
Product knowledge
· GCP 4000, Microlok II, VHLC and Electrologix
Desirable
· Knowledge on Positive Train control system
