Cognos Developer with SQL Server Experience – Rhode Island – 6 Months+
Project Goals – Microsoft BI : Convert 31 Cognos Frameworks, Several Sql Server Sprocs, Convert 330 + - Cognos Production Reports
Candidate Expertise Requirement:
v Candidate should have expertise in both Cognos and Microsoft BI
v Candidate should reverse engineer specs from framework and report
v Candidate will be given an overview of the Datamart
v Candidate should be able to code using Microsoft Tools – including all output formats
v Candidate should unit test including security.
v Security Sub System overview will be provided.
v Candidate should have good experience on following :
o Cognos Environment : Cognos 8.4, Framework Manager , Visual Source Safe 6, Oracle Databases 10.2.0.5 , Sql Server Datamarts (2008 R2, 2005 -1 datamart )
o Microsoft Environment: SSAS – 2008 R2, SSRS – 2008 R2 , Sharepoint – 2010 Enterprise, Performance Point 2010, Visual Studio 2008 , TFS 2008, Native Mode – Non Integrated
