Mechanical Systems-Flight controls – Contract – Wichita(KS)
Duration: 8 - 10 months
US National / GC holder a must
Job Description
· Design of Mech System architecture, and preparation of system specifications
· Sizing of components / LRUs
· Drawing specifications of LRUs, decide whether to procure or design in-house
· Design of LRUs identified for in-house design
· Technical evaluation of proposals for LRUs
· System performance analysis
· Designing installation, interfaces, routing of pipelines and other details
· Drawing release for prototype manufacture, equipping & erection and ground test
· ATP and qualification test schedules for LRUs designed in-house
· System / LRU test schedules
· Analysis of test results of ground / flight tests
· Development and fine tuning
· Drawings for production
· Production support and Upgrading
· Preparation of certification documents or obtain from vendor like specifications, technical documents, QTP, QTR, ATP, ATR, AMM, CMM, IPC etc….
· Issuing system design certification document and coordinating with certification authorities.
Skill set:
- Design experience in mechanical system
- Good understanding of MIL qualification, testing & certification requirements
- Expert in interpreting and creating engineering drawings
- Good interpersonal skills
- CATIA V4 and V5
