Hadoop Architect/Expert - Cupertino, CA – Full Time
· A solid foundation in Computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, and software design.
· Significant experience with the overall Hadoop eco-system (HDFS, MapReduce, Pig/Hive), Cassandra, MongoDB
· Extensive experience in building "big data" processing applications using one or more of the following languages: Java, Groovy,Python, Hive, Pig
· Good knowledge of SQL/MySQL
· Good knowledge of Linux architecture and tools
· Experience identifying and addressing performance and scalability issues.
· Experience with Cluster and Parallel Architecture
· Experience with Hadoop
· Experience with Linux RedHat and HDFS/GPFS
· Excellent client facing experience
· Strong system integration skills
· Data Analytics and Data Mining skills
· Strong Data Modeling experience
