QA tester, Weston(MA), 3 Months

Job Responsibilities

· Testing websites, web-based applications, and HTML5-based mobile applications

· Defining test approaches and test plans

· Creating and executing test scripts

· Performing user based scenario and workflow testing

· Reporting and tracking bugs & third-party issues with a high degree of detail

· Working closely with a team developers and project managers

· Extensive use of QA tools and automation

· Ability to work independently and take initiative to solve problems

· Communicating issues, risks and test status in a timely, detailed manner.

· BSCS or equivalent experience

· A minimum of 5 years' QA experience

· Experience with functional and compatibility testing

· Familiarity with testing Java, HTML (HTML5 a plus), CSS, and JavaScript (jQuery)

· Familiarity with API testing

· Comfortable installing and configuring open source packages (squid, apache, ruby gems, python modules)

· Experience building automated test scripts and testing tools is a plus

· Familiarity with a debugger

· Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
