Position : Workday Consultant (HCM/Payroll)

Location : New York,NY,C2H

Need by  : ASAP

 

Responsibilities:

1.       To engage and help Client devise an approach for management reporting insights with an understanding of Workday functional and product experience

2.       Would require front ending and interacting with Customer management while providing insights asking the right questions ,  construct and position an overall approach to improve credibility in the area

·         Provide Workday functional consulting services by acting as subject matter expert and leading clients through the entire systems development lifecycle.

·         Perform the following on an engagement : 1) understand client business requirements, 2) configure the Workday solution, 3) demonstrate the configurations through the development of prototype systems, 4) assist the client in testing the Workday solution

·         Work with the client to help convert legacy data into Workday

·         Complete the work assigned by the Project Manager within the budgeted time allocated

·         Assist clients in fully integrating the Workday system into their current business environments and provide input on best practices

·         Understand Workday quality process and Workday's Implementation Methodology and use it on all engagements

·         Work with Workday Delivery Assurance to ensure compliance with agreed to checkpoints

·         Help mentor new Principal Consultants

·         Ensure the client is referencable, once the client is in production

·         Report progress to clients and project managers

·         Continually seek ways to improve the process of delivering Workday solutions

·         Share knowledge to continually improve implementation methodology

 

 

 

Skills

·         Excellent customer interaction skills and ability to guide the customer to help define the problem as and when required, while positioning the appropriate solution for the same.

·         Skilled and prior experience in translating customer requirements into further modular requests that can be worked upon by offshore team of consultants including folks from other service lines

·         Ability to work with multiple customer and internal, offshore teams and steer them successfully towards end goal as per discussion with the customer.

·         Adept Functional and Technical understanding of the Work day product experience in HCM,Payroll implementations.

·         Prior experience in HCM implementation in Workday in requirements confirmation, configuration, testing and deployment of a Global Workday HR solution.

·         Understanding and experience in Defining processes for data load (Employee Master Data etc to be able to cater to the data extraction needs that  might be required for the current Historical reporting requirement

·         Ability to work very closely with Business users in capturing requirements and creating Functional documents (BRD & FD).

·         Coordinate and work with customer and internal teams  to make sure work is progressing as expected and as per aligned plan.
