Need to have somebody who has Green card/ or who will green card soon OR US Citizen
- Lead role in analysis and effort and time estimation of technical solutions to business problems.
- Lead role in detail analysis, design, development, deployment, and post-deployment activities; ensure that such activities are in accordance with best practices.
- Mentor, advise and guide other application developers.
- Participate in reviews for requirements, architectures, designs, codes, and test plans.
- Provide management with on-going recommendations to advancements in technology and efficiency in building and maintaining applications.
- Recommend and implement solutions to on-going requirements change in new and existing applications.
- Design, build, and support CLIENT'S rules based pricing system using experience with MS/SQL Data Warehouse techniques.
- Assist Director in every capacity in activities involving investigating problems or issues; designing and developing solutions to issues; or any other activities that are not scheduled or covered by a Service Request or a formal Project.
- Create and maintain architecture diagrams for each application and for corporate level which shows relationships among applications.
- Build new, and if necessary, convert existing, data collections forms using InfoPath 2007 and convert existing
- Collaborate with and assist any and all other IT Departments.
SPECIAL SKILLS, TRAINING, OR EXPERIENCE:
Required
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience preferred
- Total of 4+ years BI Development experience using Microsoft SQL Server (2005/2008) Technologies (SSIS, SSRS, T-SQL, Stored Procedures)
- 3+ years Dimensional Modeling experience, using Kimball methodologies
- 2+ years Database Design experience (OLTP)
- 3+ years ETL development, using SSIS and T-SQL with the ability to automate and improve performance of ETL processes
- 2+ years SSRS report development experience
- Advanced T-SQL knowledge required, with the ability to maintain and develop complex procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as PowerPoint, Word, Visio, Excel, and Access documents, MS Projects technologies such as .NET Framework, Visual Studio
- Good communication skills
Preferred
- Experience with Oracle.
- Some SSAS (Analysis Services) experience a plus but not required
- Experience in development using the Microsoft .NET Framework and Visual Studio
- Experience in development Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS 2007) including designing and building Portals, Team Sites, document libraries, form libraries, custom web parts, custom workflows, InfoPath forms, custom lists, audiences, dashboards, and key performance indicators.
