Lead Network Administrator – Full Time – Washington(DC) (Need some one with Security Clearnce – USC only)

Clearance Requirements: Treasury / IRS High-Risk

· Maintains smooth operation of local area, worldwide and virtual private networks (VPN)

· Plans, evaluates, and coordinates installation and/or reconfiguration of hardware and software elements of data and/or voice communication network

· Expertise in networks and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, multiplexers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, gateways

· Expertise in communication engineering to architect solutions that will ensure future requirement satisfaction

· Provides regular monitoring and network analysis regarding short- and long-range planning for in-house systems

· Coordinate 3^rd party maintenance for network equipment

· Design network and select hardware and software solutions

· Possess extensive knowledge of networking

· Experience in large and complex enterprises

· Aura Messaging and Modular Messaging voice mail systems

· Avaya Call Manager

· Cisco Unified Border Element

· Cisco Unified Communication Manager

· Cisco Unity Connection

· Ethernet switches (Cisco and Nortel)

· Fast Ethernet

· Gigabit Ethernet

· Intuity

· IPv4 and IPv6

· Load Balancers

· Multi Protocol Labeling Switched Networks

· OPNET App Expert

· PLS and SIP

· Probes (Nortel and Netscout) and hubs

· Protocol analyzers

· QOS

· SNMPv1 to SNMPv3 transition

· Unix and Windows system administration (sizing, installation, configuration, and maintenance) for network management platforms
Routers (Cisco - all models)

· Voice over IP

· Wired cat 5 and 6 LANs

· Wireless LANs

Additionally, Network Administrators will have the following certifications:

· Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification or higher

· Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Wireless certification or higher

· Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Data certification or higher

· Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Voice certification or higher

· Avaya ACA, ACS-Implementation, ACE - Implementation

· ITIL v3 Certifications

· Standard PC Software – Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook
